Haven Nest

This project challenges the use of sustainable space planning to create a comfortable and safe apartment space for its users.

Intrepid Aerials

This project uniquely combines both users bold and gentle, serene personality with the use of color contrast and features representing them in the space. This projects aims to create a dynamic and ergonomic environment for its users.

Pangola Hub 

As the name suggest, the roof of the building was inspired by a pangolin. This project is a office space aimed to create a conducive and cozy environment for its users.​

Golden Echoes Daycare

A dementia-friendly daycare centre offering elderly with a huge range of activities. The project aims to make use of heritage inspired materials and features from the site while creating a space for the elderly to reminisce and connect with the past. This nurture a feeling of home, preventing the elderly from suffering dementia, a common illness found in them.

A Connection With Nature

This project aims to create a connection with nature through a biophilic inspired design while promoting sustainability through the use of sustainable materials such as bamboo and wood. This project hopes to create a comfortable yet unique environment for its user. 

Location: 1 Keong Saik Road

Materials used: Cfoam, Wood textured sticker, Mounting board, Artificial plants

Soft Cove, Creating Spaces with Characters

Inspired by the serene and gentle character of my user, this prototype is created with muted colors, fabric to created a soft appearance. The use of biophilic design of plants adds a smoothing and calming touch to the space. The prototype also experiment the use of clear/frosted glass to created different shadows appearance, and the use of different sun shading device to allow air and wind circulation into the space while ensuring good control of sunlight exposure.

The MonoWalk, Creating Spaces with Characters

Inspired by the bold and distinctive character of my user, this prototype is created with angular shapes, monochrome colors to create an extreme contrast in the space and the use of floating objects, inspired by the natural behaviour of elements in space to create a surreal illusion effect in the space. The protype also experiment the use of materials with different opacity to create a variation of shadows and lightings in the space. 

Materials used: Black/White Cfoam, Clear/Frosted Acrylic
